The Macquarie University in Australia is inviting international students from all over the world to apply for its fully-funded MPhil Degree, MRes Y2+PhD Degree or PhD Degree. iRTP Scholarship will cover:

• Tuition fee waiver for 3 years.
• Annual Stipends: 2020 rate of $28,092 p.a.

Macquarie University Research Excellence Scholarship (iMQRES) will cover:

• Tuition fee waiver for 3 years.
• Annual Stipends: 2020 rate of $28,092 p.a.

Eligibility Criteria:

• All International students around the world are encouraged to apply except for Australia and New Zealand.
• Applicants must have completed a research Master’s degree or equivalent e.g. a coursework Master’s with a substantial research component (candidates will be asked to provide information on their thesis abstract, length, grade, examination process and the percentage of research component in the course).
• Candidates who will be undertaking Doctorate or Master’s of Philosophy can apply.
• Applicants must be available for a full-time program.
• Scholars can begin their research training by Macquarie University Scholarship on approved leave for overseas research.
• Applicants must attach their published research work in the application form.
• Candidates must hold highly relevant and substantial work-related research experience.
• Published research (preferably in refereed publications: journals, books, book chapters etc)
• Conference presentations (preferably refereed).
• Applicants must be willing to reside in Sydney, Australia during their award tenure, unless on approved overseas research leave.
• Scholarships will be awarded in accordance with the Macquarie University HDR Scholarship Rating Criteria and MQ Research Training Program Scholarship Policy.
