TECHFARM Hub has introduced the Ghana Youth Innovation Accelerator (GYIA) hack as a tailored hackathon strategy in collaboration with the Ghana Commission for UNESCO and with support from the National Youth Authority (NYA), MTN Ghana, Melton foundation, Untied Nations Youth Association Ghana (UNYA-GH), Youth Advocates Ghana and FAPIMPA Foundation to commemorate the 2021 International Youth Day in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
To “hack” i.e. play around with Coding, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of
Things (IOT) and Robotics. GYIA Hack is a minds-on, hands-on and hearts-on prototyping hackathon
1. Young Ghanaian innovators, entrepreneurs, agripreneurs and startups that are between the ages of 15 to 35 years.
2. Must be a team of 2 – 6 individuals who are coordinated and united to complete a goal.
3. The team must be able to present an optimal innovative digital solutions idea that falls within Sustainable Development Goals 4, 7, 9, 12 & 17.
4. The team must consist of young hardworking individuals that when given the opportunity can create Prototypes and products that can scale-up to become productive, profitable Startups that can be promoted in Ghana & outside the county.
