The Youth Delegate Program is a 3-month intensive leadership development program for the world’s top young Changemakers who are taking action to achieve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

During the YDP, Delegates connect with like-minded young leaders, strengthen their leadership skills, build their capacity to lead and create sustainable global change, and take action for a better world.

Our Delegates are some of the world’s top young Changemakers. Cohort 6 will support 100 leaders from around the world who are taking action globally and locally to support the agenda of the United Nations.

About the Youth Delegate Program

  • 14 Weeks of Leadership Development: Cohort 6 of the Youth Delegate Program kicks off on January 10th, 2022 and lasts until April 18th, 2022. During the YDP, Delegates follow a 14-week non-academic curriculum designed to build delegates’ capacity to create change, influence others, and take action.
  • Peer-to-Peer Mentorship: All Delegates join a Track, or a thematic group of like-minded Changemakers that meets on a weekly basis to discuss topics and take actions that help them to get closer to achieving their goals. Delegates also have the opportunity to be paired with an alumni mentor who supports them in their Delegate journey.
  • Engaging Workshops & Events : Each Monday during the Program, Delegates gather from 10 am – 12 pm EST for an engaging action-oriented workshop that aligns with the Leadership topic for the week. Both external and internal speakers offer the opportunity to utilize the topics discussed in the curriculum to turn them into tangible outcomes.
