The Oxford-Weidenfeld and Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Programme is open to outstanding individuals from developing and emerging economies. The program consists of a one-year graduate course at any of the University’s colleges and a one-year leadership development program. The Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships cover tuition fees, accommodation, living expenses, travel costs, and health insurance for the duration of one year’s study at any of the University’s colleges. During their studies, scholars benefit from a personal mentor and regular career coaching.

The University of Oxford is an ancient university in England, UK. It has 17 U.S.News & World Report’s top 20 colleges for 2019, including Pembroke College which is ranked 8th place overall in the world. With a history of over 800 years, it is one of the oldest universities in the English-speaking world. The university offers a wide range of academic programs, with more than 100 subjects available for study at undergraduate level, over 300 subjects available for postgraduate study, as well as doctorate degrees at various levels and others. Oxford is one of world’s most prestigious universities, attracting students from over 150 countries around the world; each year it accepts more than 4,000 international students into its schools and colleges.

The University of Oxford is also known to be the oldest university in the English speaking world; it was founded during 1096 AD. There are currently around 38 thousand students enrolled there today, which makes this university one of the largest in Europe.

Benefits

The University of Oxford will provide 100% of course fees and a grant for living costs (of at least £15,609).

How to Apply

In order to be considered, you must take admission in the undergraduate or postgraduate degree program at the University of Oxford. You must also complete a Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships Statement and upload it, together with your graduate application form.
