Sassa Status Check 2022

The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) has released the payment dates for its social grants. These payment dates do not include the Covid-19 Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant.

Sassa has announced that SRD grant payments will be paid to beneficiaries on 1 September, 2 September and 3 September.

SASSA Grant Payments for September 2022:

Now that we’re in a new month, Sassa grants will be paid out to beneficiaries. Here are the September Sassa grant payment dates, and when to collect your grant.

• 2 September 2022 (Friday): Older Persons Grant
• 5 September 2022 (Monday): Disability Grant
• 6 September 2022 (Tuesday): Children’s Grant

Sassa grants are paid through PayPoints and banks. Beneficiaries who collect their grant online must log into their Sassa account to view payment date and amount, which will vary based on number of children that the beneficiary is supporting.

As of September 1, all South Africans who receive free national social grants from the South African Government will be able to collect their Sassa grants at ATMs and retail centres.

• USave
• Checkers
• Boxer Stores.
