Home Affairs Online Application

The Department of Home Affairs has received over 85 000 applications for its project to digitise civil documents. The DHA will soon interview candidates for this project.

The Department of Health and Human Services (DHA) and the Department of Employment and Labour (DEL) have partnered with local job clubs to provide graduates unemployed or underemployed with the opportunity to make digital copies of paper records.

Of the 85 820 applications received, 23 374  have qualified to be assessed and interviewed as revealed by the home affairs department.

The Department of Home Affairs (DHA) has embarked on a new venture with the Department of Employment and Labour (DEA), to use its online Recruitment Platform, the Employment Services of South Africa (ESSA).

According to the Chief Director for Employer Services, Esther Tloane, several teams at Labour Centres and provincial offices are hard at work to screen, verify and ensure that qualifying candidates are shortlisted ahead of interviews expected to begin soon.
