You can check the status of your Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) claims online. To do this, visit www.ufiling.co.za/ UIF or contact us on 0800 121 622 for help. We’ll notify you via SMS when a decision has been made on your claim and you can also request a notification should we require further information from you.

HOW TO CHECK YOUR UIF CLAIM STATUS ONLINE

• Log onto www.ufiling.co.za.
• Click on check my status.
• Follow the instructions as they appear on your screen.
• Enter the Captcha number displayed on the screen.
• Then proceed to enter your UIF Reference Number.

If you received your UIF registration number by SMS or email, you may use the ID number to log in. You can alternatively, send an email to online.BCP@labour.gov.za with your name and UIF registration number.
