HOW LONG ARE THE CONTRACTS FOR?

There will be different cohorts and the durations will vary. However the cohorts will run for 8 months in total (approximately 1 February 2023 – 30 September 2023)

o Cohort 1 starting in Feb 2023 and

o Cohort 2 starting in May 2023

o **KZN will have one cohort ONLY – starting 1 March 2023 for 7 months

o **WC will have one cohort ONLY – starting 1 Feb 2023 for 8 months

WHAT IS THE SALARY?

The stipend amount will be R4 081.44 per month.

1% employee UIF contribution will be deducted monthly from the stipend amount

WHICH SCHOOLS ARE INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAMME?

Public Ordinary Schools (POS) & Schools for Learners with Special Educational Needs (LSEN) in 9 Provincial Education Departments (PED’s)

• All no-fee schools 1 – 4 schools;

• Schools with multi-grade classes;

• Small schools, micro schools, farm schools; and

• Rural & township schools;

Applications open on the 26th September closing on the 16th October so you will have 3 weeks to apply. All applicants who apply before closing date will be considered.
