What it Means –  Applicant completed the re- application process. Verification is complete each month for the SRD R350 grant.

What to do – Applicants must check their verification and payment status every new month on the Sassa official website. https://srd.sassa.gov.za

Bank details pending

What it Means – No banking details or preferences were received during applications or reapplication.

What to do – The Sassa applicants should submit their banking details via the Sassa website. http://srd.sassa.gov.za

Reapplication pending

What it Means –  No re-application has been received.

What to do – The applicant should submit an application via the Sassa website: https://srd.sassa.gov.za

Period (e.g. April) Pending

What it Means –Re-application was successfully received. Verification of the application for the period is pending.

What to do – The client should check back the status later in the month for an update. https://srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/status

Period (e.g. April) Approved

What it Means – The application was approved for the period.

What to do – The client should check the pay day field for an indication of when they will receive their money. If no pay day value is provided, no payment has been processed as yet.

Period (e.g. April) Declined

What it Means –  The application was declined for the period and the reason is provided.

What to do – They can submit a request for reconsideration via the website, should they feel that the reason is invalid. https://Srd.dsd.gov.za

Canceled

What it Means – The grant is cancelled.

What to do – If the Sassa applicant wishes to reinstate the grant, it can be done on the website: htts://srd.sassa.gov.za/scl 9/reinstate
