Did you know that you can now collect your SASSA SRD R350 grant at Shoprite checkers and Usave all over South Africa.

After the Sassa extended the SRD R350 grant for another year, applicants or beneficiaries can now access it at these places Shoprite, Checkers, Usave and some selected OK Food supermarkets nationwide.

In a single location, Sassa beneficiaries can buy groceries and buy their bills while they receive their R350 grant.

Now, how can you collect your Sassa SRD R350 grant at Shoprite, Checkers and Usave;

1. To collect their grant in any Shoprite, Checkers, Usave or selected OK Foods, you need to provide your ID and cellphone number. It must be the same cellphone number with which you registered on the SASSA database
2. A confirmation OTP will be sent to this number to prevent fraud before you can withdraw the funds.
3. Grants are available from  March 2022 month for all customers who have already registered online or at the Post Office. In-store registrations are not available.
