MyNsfas is the portal for National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) applicants to log in and access and manage important information regarding their applications.

Students or NSFAS applicants are recommended to create their MyNSFAS accounts. To create your Nsfas student account, follow the process below;

  1. Go to and click on “myNsfas account“.
  2. Enter your username and password.
  3. Click on the “My personal details” tab.
  4. Update your cellphone number and/or email address to your current one.
  5. Click “Update your details” to proceed.
  6. A One-Time Pin (OTP) will be sent to the new number and email address that you have provided.
  7. Enter the OTP and click submit.
  8. Your details will immediately be updated.

Protect your username and password because your email address is your username. If you already have an account, sign in to your account by entering usernames and passwords or Facebook/Google account.

Note that your cellphone number or email address must be uniquely yours and cannot be shared.

With just a few clicks of your mouse, you can check the status of your application by logging into your myNSFAS Account.
