Prime Minister’s Talent Hunt Youth Sports League (THYSL) Program for Pakistan Youths

Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Talent Hunt Youth Sports League (THYSL) aims to engage youth of Pakistan in healthy physical activities through sports. Sports can play critical role in transforming the youth into a self-confident, organized, and capable workforce that can bring positive social change and economic well-being in the country. Keeping these goals in mind, Talent Hunt Youth Sports League was initiated in collaboration with Higher Education Commission (HEC).

The program includes 12 games entitled Badminton, Boxing, Cricket, Football, Handball, Hockey, Judo, Squash, Table Tennis, and Volleyball for men and women whereas Weightlifting and Wrestling for men only.

Objectives

  • Collaboration with relevant stakeholders of sports to providing equal opportunities to both male and female players to excel in sports.
  • Nurturing young players systematically through scientific training methods.
  • Financial handholding of the talented young players.
  • International standard training of athlethes and local sports staff including coaches and trainers through relevant officials.
  • Developing sports culture among youth of Pakistan.
  • Developing sustainable sports eco-system in Pakistan

Eligibility

You are strongly encouraged to apply for the programme, if you are
  • Pakistani including (AJK & GB) National having CNIC or Form B.
  • Age between 15 to 25 years.
  • Not an employee of all those departments who take part in sports at National level like WAPDA, Armed Forces, Railway, etc.

Note: Both men and women can apply.
