Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT)

You can EFT the money using your mobile banking app or internet banking. You’ll need the following details to do it this way:

  • Account number: 10 or 11 digit number showed on your internet banking, cellphone banking and mobile app profiles
  • Account type: Choose ‘Savings’
  • Bank: Choose Bidvest Bank (Old Mutual Money Account is in association with Bidvest Bank)
  • Branch code: Enter 462005

Cash Deposit
By making a card deposit, which you can do at your nearest Pick n Pay or Boxer Store.

How do I make a card deposit at a Shoprite, Checkers, UsavePick n Pay or Boxer store?

1) Tell the cashier you want to make a deposit using your card.

2) Tell the cashier how much you want that deposit to be.

3) Give the cash to the cashier.

4) Put your card into the card machine

5) Enter your 4-digit card PIN

6) Once your deposit is finished, the cashier will give you a till slip to confirm.

Bank transfer and stop order

Did you know, you can transfer money from an account with another bank to your Old Mutual Money Account? Go to that bank’s branch to make the transfer. You can also set up a stop order, which lets you pay a set amount into your account on a monthly basis. These are the details you’ll need:

3) Enter your cell phone number (the number you used to open your Money Account)

4) You will get an SMS. Click on the link in the message.

5) A USSD message will then be sent to your phone. Press 1 to confirm.

6) Enter your card PIN and then choose ‘verify’

7) Enter your app PIN and choose ‘Login’ (Don’t forget to keep your pin safe and private!)

How do I buy data, airtime and electricity

1) Launch the Old Mutual Banking App

2) Click on ‘Money Account’

3) Log in using your details or fingerprint (if you’ve set up biometrics)

4) Click on the ‘Prepaid’ icon on the homescreen

5) Choose what you want to buy (airtime, data, SMS bundle or electricity)
