Sassa is an organization that has taken care of the social welfare of people with disabilities and aged people who are in need. Many of us have been approved for payment but ever since you were approved you have not received any payment. This is indeed very frustrating and is very hard to cope especially when you are not in employment. There are a few reasons why people would not have been paid since their approval.

Reason 1: The first reason is that your banking details may be wrong; If you are struggling to receive your payment at the expected date, try to ensure that your banking details match the ones entered when registering for the r350 payment date. You may also want to make sure that your bank account is not linked previously with a different name.

Reason 2: If you have been approved by sassa with no pay date and the money has not filtered into your bank account through a bank transfer or cash send then there is nothing you can do at this point. You will just have to wait for sassa to make the payment available through them by sending it through your bank or post office account later in the month.

Reason 3: One of the most common reasons for why people are not paid is because ‘payment has not been processed as yet’. So if you have applied for a Sassa grant and you are still waiting for your money, you should not be worried about it.
