Project GEST is a program organised by the Girl Child Empowerment Office. It aims to provide girls with educational opportunities and encourage them to participate in agriculture, art, science and technology fields. You are required to fill in this application form if you wish to apply for the program.

Applications are open to girls between the ages of 18 and 30 years, who will be chosen based on their previous experience in their preferred skill area, and the perceived benefit of the training on their livelihood.

Age limit of 30 years or above for these Women Entrepreneurs. If a woman has been previously empowered by the State Government through other entrepreneurship programs, she is not eligible to apply.

Applications should be clearly and legibly written, with photocopies of all educational certificates, evidence of Local Government Area (LGA) of origin and passport photograph. Please note that all information provided in this form will be verified. Incomplete applications will be disqualified.

Please note that we only have limited positions available and all applicants will be required to attend an interview and proficiency test. Only successful candidates will be contacted. Ensure that you provide a ‘functional mobile number’ as well as valid referee information, so that we may contact you if you are selected for the position.
