Why is my Sassa r350 approved but no payment?

The Social Relief of Distress (SRD) was created to support vulnerable individuals who are unemployed and do not receive any financial support from the government. However, many individuals who were approved for this relief mechanism have not received grant payments.

Sassa SA has been experiencing technical issues which resulted in Sassa not being able to pay grant beneficiaries. This issue delayed Sassa from paying grant beneficiaries.

As a beneficiary, you may have been approved to receive grant payments from the department of social development. If you have not received payment, please contact your Sassa office to ensure your file is up to date, as well as any other information required for communication purposes.
