UIC Blackboard is an online learning management system used by faculty and students at the University of Illinois at Chicago. The Blackboard Gateway is temporarily unavailable for use. If you cannot log in and you are new to UIC, it is likely that a password has not yet been set for your UIC NetID. For students, this is commonly done during orientation.

Your Blackboard password will be set when you first access the ADDIE platform. To do this, go to either C-Stop BSB or C-Stop LHS via https://accc.uic.edu/c-stop-locations/ for help.

If you are experiencing trouble with your Blackboard account login, use the following steps to manually create your account:

1. Go to https://accountportal.uic.edu/
2. Log in with your NetID and password
3. Select “Blackboard” from the list of accounts
4. Click “Create account”
