Did you know that you can have your contact details changed after applying for the R350 grant? In this article, you’ll learn about how you can update your contact details for the Sassa Special Covid-19 SRD grant. However, if you do not know your SRD application ID, you will be able to find it on the SRD website.

The Sassa Special Covid-19 SRD grant was introduced by the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) to help citizens who lost their jobs amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.

Over 7 million South Africans have benefitted from the R350 grant which is paid monthly to unemployed citizens. The current R350 grant will end on March 31.

Those who have applied for the grant and would like to change their contact details may do so by following these steps:

How To Update Contact Details For R350 Grant

  1.  Click here to visit the SRD website.
  2. Enter your ID number and Application ID.
  3. Select “Submit”.
  4. Fill in your email address, if available.
  5. Enter your new cellphone number.
  6. Click “Submit”.
  7. Choose the reason for changing the cellphone number.
  8. Fill in the OTP sent via SMS.
  9. Select “Submit”.

You can find your application ID under the application status tab. The steps below will help you to locate your application ID:

  1. Click here to visit the SRD website.
  2. Fill in your ID number and the cellphone number used when you applied for the grant.
  3. Select “Submit”.

Your application ID will appear in the first line, once you have selected the “Submit” button.
