The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) is a South African government student financial aid scheme which provides financial aid to undergraduate students to help pay for the cost of their tertiary education after finishing high school. How To Re-register MyMSFAS Account 2022

To access your funding progress through your MyNSFAS account, you are required to register or re-register a myNSFAS account on www.nsfas.org.za
The steps to re-register are:

  1. Go to www.nsfas.org.za
  2. Click myNSFAS tab
  3. Click register
  4. Tick the box to allow NSFAS to verify your details
  5. Then capture ID number as it is stated on your ID document
  6. Type in your full names and surname as per your ID document
  7. Type in your current email address
  8. Confirm your email address
  1. Type in your cell phone number
  2. Create a password
  3. Confirm password
  4. Upload ID copy
  5. Click register
  6. OTP will be sent to the email and cell number provided (this OTP expires after 24 hours)
  7. Type in the OTP and click submit
  8. You have now completed your re-registration

TO COMPLETE REGISTRATION YOU WILL NEED A COPY OF YOUR ID. FOR USERS
WITH THE ID CARD MAKE SURE THAT YOU UPLOAD A COPY REFLECTING BOTH
SIDES OF YOUR ID CARD. YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS WILL BE YOUR USERNAME. PLEASE PROTECT YOUR
USERNAME AND PASSWORD!
