sassa r350 grant post office not selected

Social relief grants will no longer be available from the South African Post Office. Sassa has made this call public, describing their reasons for the change in a press release. The spokesperson for Sassa said that due to the lack of enough postal staff, the distribution center at local post offices was not able to meet the demand.

Due to the high level of risk involved in collecting payments from the post office, Sassa has decided that it is necessary to take this step and make the payment collection process easier for both beneficiaries and post offices. All R350 grant recipients are now required to collect their grant payments at their nearest bank or select accredited pay points across South Africa.
