UNISA Applications 2023

Did you miss the first University of South Africa (UNISA) 2023 application deadline for postgraduate qualifications. If yes then you stand a chance to be admitted this time as UNISA has extended its applications deadline.

UNISA has opened applications for postgraduate qualifications such as Masters and Doctoral qualifications in September and the applications deadline was in November.

However, the university extended the application as there were still openings after the application deadline.

The deadline for applying for the Postgraduate Diploma offered by the Unisa Graduate School of Business Leadership is November 30th.

For those who wish to apply for the 2023 master’s or doctoral course, the deadline will be extended to January 31, 2023, with some exceptions.

We recommend that you submit your application for admission within the designated application period. Students starting a new course must also submit an application for admission.

All applications must be submitted online as the local offices do not have self-help stations for applications.

Applicants must have:

• A valid email address
• A valid cellphone number
• South African applicants will need an ID number.  Foreign applicants will need their passport number.
• Copy of your school qualifications (eg Senior Certificate)
• Application fee of R125 which should be paid once you receive your student number (where applicable).

The review of applications takes time and applicants cannot receive feedback from Unisa until 6-8 weeks after the application deadline.
