SAYouth.Mobi is a mobile app developed by the Department of Employment and Labour in partnership with other stakeholders that allows youth to make applications for internship positions.

The program is supported by Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator, the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), National Youth Development Agency (NYDA), Youth Employment Service (YES) and the Development Bank of South Africa.

To register on SAYouth,

  1. Visit sayouth.mobi/join.
  2. Then, you have to click the ‘I’m ready to join” button.
  3. Fill in your personal details and contact information, and then move through the following tabs to complete the registration process.
  4. Once you have registered and accepted the T&Cs, complete all questions. This process will take you about 4 minutes.
  5. After completing all questions, various opportunities available near you will be displayed. 
  6. Click on an opportunity you are interested in and apply.
  7. Click on the profile icon to add more information, such as educational qualifications and work experience.
